Sure, he helps the city fight crime, but he does it in a way that causes more harm than good. Hancock is a man who is grumpy, rude and wakes up with a bottle of whiskey in his hands. What do you get when you combine a depressed alcoholic, super powers and comic relief? You get Hancock! In the starring role playing the title character, Will Smith brings this anti-super hero to life. If you have a love of all things action-packed, as well as a good story, Hancock does not disappoint. Will Smith brings a likability to Hancock that makes us believe in him and we want him to succeed from the beginning. Hancock is an entertaining movie that shows a new take on a super hero. As it turns out, she is holding a secret that can threaten the lives of herself, Hancock and other L.A citizens. As things begin to improve, there is one character in particular who continues to display doubt in Hancock. Ray is persistent that he can make a positive change in Hancock’s life and, after a while, Hancock starts to believe it himself. Out of the whole city, Ray and his son, Aaron, are the only ones who believe that there is a classic Super Hero somewhere inside of Hancock.
